The August tournament will be held in Los Banos, Laguna.  The final announcement will be made as soon as the venue is confirmed.  The same format will be followed:  8 rounds KOTH, 22 minutes time allocation with a 3 minutes extension, 5 points deduction for unsuccessful challenges, and NO SMOKING.

The mechanics of the Candidates' Matches are being refined for announcement.  Just a reminder, a player with no rating (Philippine Unified Rating System), will not be invited in the weeklong tournament.
