The tournament began with a 25-rounds preliminary over a period of three days, whose top four players contested a best-of-five semifinal (Rank#1 vs. 4, Rank#2 vs. 3) and the remaining two players battled to a best-of-five final.

After Jighere played FARRANT, Victor laid down the nine-timer QUAESTOR and this was the turning point of the game.
